EMPLOYEE CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAM

In order to be eligible for the award, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational assistance is based on reimbursement for up to $1,500 per semester
  • Applications are accepted year-round
  • Course/Seminar must be related to the employee’s position and improve their skills that will ultimately benefit the hospital and the quality of care provided to patients.
  • Must be a full-time employee.
  • Must be employed for more than a year.
  • Must have already received funding from the hospital’s Education Department before submitting an application to The Foundation.
  • Grades and receipts must be returned with the completed application.
  • Must obtain department manager signature as well as senior administration signature

The Foundation is honored to make investments in the programs and staff at Thomas Health. Employee Scholarships provide the dedicated staff with an opportunity to advance their knowledge and provide excellent patient care. All grant and scholarship applications are carefully screened by the Foundation’s Appropriations Committee to fulfill the Foundation’s mission.

  • All educational assistance is based on reimbursement each fiscal year.
  • All applications are reviewed by the Foundation’s Appropriations Committee with applications being accepted year-round.
  • Thomas Health employee applicants are eligible for up to $1,500 per semester.
  • Thomas Health employee family reimbursement is a separate entity. These applicants are eligible for up to $500 per semester.
  • Recipients will receive their check by mail at the address they provide in the application.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be full-time and have been employed for one year or more.
  • Applicants must have already received education funds from Thomas Health’s Education Department prior to applying for the Foundation’s reimbursement.
  • Course/Seminar must be related to the employee’s position and improve their skills that will ultimately benefit the hospital and the quality of care provided to patients.
  • Each applicant must obtain a signature from their department manager as well as a senior administration official.
  • Grades and receipts must be returned with the completed application.
