EMPLOYEE FAMILY EDUCATION TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
In order to be eligible for the one-time $1,000 award, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Family educational assistance is a one-time award of $1,000 gift toward reimbursement of tuition.
- Must be sponsored by a current, full-time employee that has been employed by WVU Medicine/Thomas Hospitals for at least three (3) years.
- An eligible child/grandchild is defined as:
- Any natural or legally adopted child or grandchild or any stepchild or step-grandchild that is residing with the employee on a permanent basis.
- Grades and receipts must be returned with the completed application.
The Foundation is honored to make investments in the staff at WVU Medicine/Thomas Hospitals and their families. The Employee Family Education Tuition Assistance Program provides family members of WVU Medicine/Thomas Hospitals dedicated staff with an opportunity to advance their education. The Employee Family Education Tuition Assistance Program is funded through the Thomas Health Employee Giving Fund.

- Family educational assistance is available to all children residing with the employee on a full-time basis.
